Beauty

Beauty, they say, is only skin deep. Yet, the typical woman is obsessed with the façade of her being.
Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Yet, we still have beauty pageants fueled by subjective perceptions.
Beauty, they say, is reflected in the soul. Yet, we still judge books by their covers.
Beauty, they say, is a fugitive which is never found. Yet, the world claims to have found her. She’s married to Jay-Z.
Beauty, they say, is short lived. Yet, the laugh of the plastic surgeon at this statement knows no bounds.
Beauty, they say, is worse than wine. Yet, men can’t seem to quench their thirst for it.
Beauty, they say, is the greatest seducer of man. Ogres need not give up, beauty lies in the hands of the beer-holder.
Beauty, they say, is the promise of happiness. Yet, the tragedy of Norma jean’s untimely death proves otherwise.
Beauty, they say, is art. Yet again, subjectivity is key.
Beauty, they say, is an ecstasy. Not a single fault here, Delilah used this to her advantage.
Beauty, they say, is more sought after than bread. Yet, in this world of hardships, manna is our only hustle.
Beauty, they say, doesn’t keep a husband.  Yet, it sure as hell seems good enough for the mistress!
Beauty, they say, is a fragile gift. Yet, I have no idea where such is sold.
Beauty, they say, is our weapon against nature. Yet, the world’s most beautiful women are Asians. That doesn’t seem to hinder Mother Nature’s wrath upon them.
Beauty they say, is grace and confidence. Yet, these are the names of my neighbors. I rest my case.
Beauty, they, say, is what life is about. Guess I’ve been living my life wrong.
In the end, Beauty is what it means to you; it may be love, joy, music, happiness, or art.
Beauty I say, is the whole essence of God, my creator. This is, because He created ME. :)
